Description
The US-based online retailer Amazon announced the opening of a new logistic centre in Frankenthal and therefore the creation of 1,000 jobs by the end of 2017. The company will start to hire new staff members in spring 2017 and will go into operations at the end of 2017. The company is looking for logistics staff, engineers, IT- and human resources management and shipping employees. The 1,000 contracts will be open-ended. It will be the tenth logistic centre of the company in Germany as Amazon reported on growing demand. The US-based company already employs about 11,000 staff members for the logistics in Germany.
