Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Italian banking group Credito Emiliano (Credem) is to hire 120 employees, mainly in Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Campania, Calabria and Sicily.
Credem is performing a significant growth in terms of number of clients and market shares, and is intended to strengthen its position by investing in technological innovation and in its sales network.
The bank has already hired about 600 workers over the last three years, 170 thereof in 2016.
The recruitment will target young people to be trained and enrolled both in the headquarters and in the private and small business customer services.
The hirings will occur by means of fixed-term contracts, to be possibly shifted into permanent positions.
