Provider of online games and other IT-products Gameforge announced to cut about 90 jobs at its site in Karlsruhe. The company will dismiss about 20 percent of their employees and will discontinue their online games department in the future concentrating publishing PC-games rather than online free-to-play games.
Gamesforge will provide support to their affected employees in order to find a new job. Gamesforge as well as other provider of online games have been struggling to make profit this year, see Wooga, 2016 and Goodgames Studio, 2016.
