On 1st October 2016, Polish supermarket chain Piotr i Paweł launched its third logistic centre in Poland. The company will create 180 jobs at the unit located in Stare Gnatowice near Warszawa. The centre consists of 14,000 m2, of which half are freezers. The restructuring programme aims to optimise the supply chain as well as support further expansion of the chain, especially in central and southern Poland.
Piotr i Paweł has been operating since 1990. Currently, the chain has two logistic centres (located in Koninek and Gądki near Poznań) and 135 stores across Poland.
