Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish producer of motorcycles, agricultural machinery and tractors Pronar has announced that it will create 550 new jobs at its production facilities in three location by the end of 2016.
In Hajnówka, the company will create 200 jobs at the plant which will mainly produce axes, track drive systems and gears. According to the source, the investment is already completed. Another 200 new jobs will be created in Narewka; the hall is expected to be operational in October 2016 and it will produce large trailers. In the third facility, which will produce large agricultural machinery, the company will hire 250 people. The facility is expected to be operational in December 2016.
For all these plants, the company is looking for mainly welders and paint shop employers, both qualified workers and candidates without experience as the company will provide training for new employees.
Pronar was founded in 1998. The company has seven plants in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
