Description

The group Accor has announced the closure of its luxury hotel Pullman Paris Montparnasse in August 2017 for a complete renovation. The hotel is expected to reopened in 2020. The management has started on 12 September to negotiate with the employees' representative an Employment safeguard plan. The union CGT expected 500 to 650 job cuts but it includes indirect jobs. The management will propose reemployment measures within the group Accor in the Employment safeguard plan and a voluntary departure plan. It wants to avoid forced dismissals. At this stage the number of total job cuts is not known.
