Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Supplier of fluid control, motion control and pneumatic systems ASCO Numatics, a subsidiary of Emerson, has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its new plant in Łódź. ASCO is looking for highly qualified technical staff. The factory, which will be the biggest company’s facility in Europe, is expected to be operational in March 2017. ASCO plans to invest over PLN 30 million (EUR 6.97 million USD 7.77 million).
Currently, ASCO has sixteen plants worldwide, including seven in Europe. In Poland, ASCO has been operating since 1996.
