European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Antwerp Depot announced its intention to cease activities and dismiss all its employees: 85 workers and 20 clerical staff. The company maintains, stores and repairs containers at a site in Antwerp port. According to shareholders the company was losing too much money and therefore they stopped the financing. The company was formed in 2015 as the merger of 3 smaller companies. The information and consultation of staff has been initiated and it should take approximately 2-3 months.
