European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German producer of engine systems and automotive components Mahle is to hire 400 individuals at its local subsidiary Mahle Componente de Motor (MCM). The company intends to boost production capacity at its factory in Timisoara (western Romania), meet rising demand and double its turnover to over EUR 134mn (USD 148.32mn) by 2021. The company reported a turnover of EUR 68 million in 2015, 17% higher compared to 2014.
The company has a total workforce of 700 in Timisoara.
