Description

Star Transmission, the Romanian division of German car group Daimler, has completed the construction of a new plant in Cugir (in Alba) following an investment worth 13 million euro. Some 150 new jobs are expected to be created as a result of this business expansion. The new plant, which will officially open in August, will produce 17 different types of high-pressure pipelines for five different types of petrol engines.

Star Transmission was founded in 2001 and it currently employs 1,800 people in Romania.
