Description

September 1st 2016 the first shopping complex in the city of Pula, Pula City Mall, has been officially opened. The complex covers about 13 thousand square metres, making it the largest shopping centre in the Istrian County.

The mall will be home to both established brands such as DM, Farmacia, Kika, Müller, Tele2, Top shop, and Western Union, as well as brands which have not been available on the Istrian market until now. C & A, Deichmann, Dominik Srebrnarnica, Hervis, Galileo,  Leggiero bar, Mass, New Yorker, Sportina and Zoo city will all be available at the Pula City Mall.

Pula City Mall will enable opening at least 200 new jobs, and will also pay utility fees and receive company income tax enable additional resources to the county’s budget. The workers will be employed by the Mall but will be working in various stores.

This investment is worth about €20 million. The investor and owner of Pula City Mall is a Croatian project company within the Austrian MID Group. The company is one of the leading and largest developers in the domestic market and its portfolio contains a number of realised projects. As the region is very attractive and not saturated with shopping malls, and the population has relatively high purchasing power, the group is planning to expand its activities in the county.
