Description

Engineering company INA Lanškroun is to create up to 960 new jobs at its new plant which is being built in the city of Svitavy. The plant will start trial operation in early September 2016 and will initially need 100 workers. The number is to increase by another 100 workers for full operation during the first half of 2017 and will gradually rise up to 960 employees in the long run.

The new factory will produce models for temperature control in cars. According to Martin Netolický, governor of the Pardubice Region, one way to solve a shortage of skilled technicians is to introduce a dual education system which combines apprenticeships in a company and vocational education at school.
