German producer of components for the automotive industry IFA Powertrain Poland has announced that it will create 430 jobs at its new factory in Ujazd (Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland). The company has just started building the factory of drive shafts for such companies as Daimler and plans to invest PLN 430 million (EUR 98.85 million USD 110.25 million). The factory is expected to be operational at the beginning of 2017.
IFA Powertrain is a part of automotive company IFA Rotorion; the company produces drive shafts and car accessories. IFA Powertrain has factories in Germany, USA and China and employs over 2,500 people worldwide.
