The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Construction company Dunne Group has ceased trading with immediate effect, leading to the loss of 524 jobs. The company based in Bathgate, West Lothian is reported to have been suffering cash-flow problems emanating from trading deficits on some of its contracts, which has led administrators to take the decision to close activities. 200 jobs have been lost in Scotland, with 13 losses in Leeds and a further 311 losses in London. The company has reportedly kept on 16 staff to help wind-up the business.
