European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Chinese producer of lighting equipment Hongbo has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its new production facility in Opole. In total, the company plans to create up to 300 jobs. The factory, which will be located in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, is expected to be fully operational in February 2017. The plant will produce lighting equipment in LED technology. The company is to invest EUR 100 million in the project.
Hongbo specialises in the production of semiconductor light, urban lighting, high-power LED lighting as well as lighting for tunnels, gardens and bars.
