The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The manufacturer of mechanical and hydraulic components Wema from Zedelgem closes at the end of March. The company announced its intention to terminate the activities and that all 124 workers,97 workers and 27 employees, will be dismissed through collective redundancy procedure.The company encountered financial difficulties after the 2008 crisis and lost some major clients in the last couple of years.
