Novem Car Interior Design, a manufacturer of high quality trim elements and decorative function elements for car interiors,  will create 150 new jobs in Žalec (Savinjska region). The company will become a supplier of Mercedes, Audi and Range Rover in 2017. Due to the production increase in the first half of 2017, the company will invest 10 million EUR in the construction of a new production hall to be ready by November 2016. Novem Car Interior Design already employs 770 workers and is expected to have 920 after the expansion of production.
