Polish vodka producer Fabryka Wódek Polmos Łańcut has announced that it will cut 130 out of 159 jobs via collective dismissal programme. The company has decided to relocate the production of vodka to the unit in Starogard Gdański. The conditions of the programme are being negotiated with the local trade union.
At the same time, a decision has been made by the new management of the company to build a new distillation installation which is expected to be operational at the end of 2017.
The unit in Łańcut has been operating for 250 years.
