Description
Romanian cable producer Leoni Wiring Systems, which is part of the German Group Leoni, announced plans to create 100 new jobs in Romania by the end of the year. The new jobs will be created at the plant in Bistrita, where the company has its headquarters. The open positions are for individuals with secondary education for both the assembly and mounting of car components. The company intends to provide various professional training opportunities to the new hires.
In Romania, Leoni has 16,000 employees at its plants in Arad and Beius (Arad County), Bacov (Arges County) and Bistrita (Bistrita-Nasaud County). The Bistrita plant currently employs 9,000 persons.Â
Update 28 July 2016: Leoni announced that 200 persons will be hired by the end of 2016 in Bistrita plant. The open positions are for unskilled workers with secondary education.
The Bistrita plant currently employs 9,100 persons.
