Description
Wooden products manufacturer MTI Impex, the Romanian subsidiary of the French Group Lapeyre, announced the cut of all 120 jobs (permanent full-time positions) at the Ghimbav plant (Brasov county). The job losses, which are envisaged in the reorganisation plan announced on 20 May 2016, are expected to be implemented by the end of June 2016. The management of the group also announced the concentration of its production activities in France. The trade union has so far not reacted to the announcement.
Lapeyre is a French multinational group which has been operating in Romania since 2007.Â
