Visteon Electronics Bulgaria, a supplier of cockpit electronics and technology for connected car, is to expand its software operations in Bulgaria and to create 150 new jobs by the end of 2016. This business expansion follows a significant increase in demand for software services.
Visteon's software centre in Sofia employs more than 700 people and there are plans to expand the facility to accommodate the 150 additional employees.
Visteon Electronics Bulgaria is part of global automotive electronics supplier Visteon. The company employs more than 11,000 employees worldwide and it is a supplier for the car industry, including BMW, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Nissan and Hyundai.
