Pharmaceutical company Glaxosmithkline has opened a new 56 million GBP laboratory at its site in Ware, Hertfordshire and will be creating 150 new jobs. When the new positions are filled the total head-count at the site will be 1,200. The site will manufacture inhalers to treat patients with pulmonary conditions. The company is also reported to be expanding at other sites in the UK, though the expansion at Ware is the most significant.
