Description
Ferdinand Bilstein, a specialist car parts distributor, has announced plans to create 400 new jobs at Markham Vale Business Park in Chesterfield. The announcement follows a deal between the German company and Derbyshire County Council. 150 of the jobs will be created in the first wave, with the company adding the remaining 250 over the following years. It is not being reported when the new jobs will begin, but the site will be operating by the end of 2016. The company cited the proximity of the Business Park to both its UK customers and the motorway network as key reasons for the decision to set up in the East Midlands.
