Description

British mining company Vast Resources is to hire 150 staff at the Baita Plai (Bihor County) mine in 2016. Last November, the mining company signed an agreement with Romanian state-owned company Baita to obtain the right to mine in Baita Plai.

In 2015, Vast Resources invested over 4.1 million euro in infrastructure maintenance, new equipment, maintenance, environmental projects and training of employees at mines in Bihor and Suceava counties.

The company has about 180 employees, a figure that is expected to almost double by the end of 2016.
