European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish construction company Skanska Direkt is to cut 400 jobs due to diminishing profitability. The company, which is a subsidiary of Skanska, works on smaller construction projects, construction service and maintenance. To the extent possible dismissed staff will be given priority when replacing staff within the Skanska group.
