Coffee chain Caffè Nero says it is to open 40 new stores and employ 350 people as part of its expansion plans in Ireland.
The company currently has six cafes in Ireland, the UK chain established its presence in Ireland in 2014.
The expansion is based on a €20m investment. Trading losses of €430,000 recorded recently are attributable to start-up costs, the company says.
