European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American Restaurant System, which operates food chains KFC and Pizza Hut in Romania, is to create 450 jobs in 2016 across the country. The open positions are for candidates as young as 16; no work experience is necessarily required for the advertised vacancies. The roles to be filled include cashiers, waiters and chefs.
Mark Hilton, franchise business consultant of KFC and Pizza Hut Romania stated that: “We know it is difficult for young people without experience to find a job. In the case, we offer them the chance to work for an international brand having the opportunity to start a career. KFC and Pizza Hut employees receive dedicated training and have the opportunity to progress quickly in their career. Since February the wages for the personal working in KFC and Pizza Hut Romania has increase by 20%.”
