Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish new IT company Asseco Data Systems (ADS), a subsidiary of Asseco group, has announced that it will create around 300 new jobs at its ten units across Poland by the end of June 2016. ADS was established in January 2016 by merging six units of Asseco: Unizeto Technologies, PI Zeto Bydgoszcz, ADH-Soft, Z.U.I Otago, CK Zeto Łódź and Combidata Poland. The estimated sales of ADS are to reach PLN 450 million (EUR 102.91 million USD 112.50 million) in 2016. ADS provides cyber security services and solutions for local and regional governments.
Asseco, founded in 1991, is one of the largest software company listed on the Warsaw stock exchange and the largest IT services provider in CEE. Asseco group operates in 54 countries and employs over 20,000 people.
