Clothing retailer Primark is to create 350 new jobs with the opening of a store in La Valette-du-Var near the city of Toulon. The outlet is due to open on the 13 April.  The Irish clothing retailer has already opened 7 stores in France over the last 30 months in Marseille, Dijon, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Villeneuve-La Garenne, Créteil, Lyon and Cagnes-sur-Mer. A new outlet will be opened by the end of 2016 near Lille. Three other openings are scheduled in 2017 (Metz, Toulouse and Val d’Europe near Paris).   Nearly 20 managers will also be employed, with recruitment starting later this month. Primark employs more than 16,000 people - which it plans to increase to 23,000 over the next year - in its 137 stores in the UK, Spain and Ireland.
