European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
TRW, the company specialised in the manufacture of accessories and parts of motor vehicles, has agreed with the unions to a labour force adjustment plan affecting 123 workers. The regional government was also involved in the negotiation process. The company initially proposed a reduction of 250 employees. Workers voted on the new proposal, with 58% voting in favour of the plan. In addition, the company has presented an industrial plan that guarantees employment for the remaining 500 workers until 2020
