Description
The Danish retail chain Fona have, for generations, sold radios and tvs to the Danes and more recently modern communication equipment are to close 25 out of 56 shops in Denmark, leading to 300 redundancies. The company entered into receivership in February, and the decision to close the shops was taken to save the company. The reason for the closure is heavy competition from large warehouses selling electronic equipment at low prices.
