Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Borgers Poland, a subsidiary of German producer of automotive textile components, has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its facility in Złotoryja (Legnica Special Economic Zone, Poland). The company has just started a recruitment process; currently, the company is looking for HR, production, logistic and quality managers. In total, the company plans to create 600 jobs in the factory. The values of the first stage of the investment will be PLN 125 million (EUR 29 million USD 32.39 million), while the total value should reach PLN 220 million).
Borgers has been operating for 150 years; the company employs over 6,000 people worldwide.
