European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Spanish public-owned railway network operator Adif has been authorised by the government to hire 262 new workers in 2016. Specific date of incorporation of the new workers has not been published yet. With this, the company will achieve a replacement rate of 60% of the dismissals implemented in 2015 (previously reported in the ERM). It is the first offer of public employment that Adif has made since 2010. The company has also requested the government to provide some hiring quotas for temporary roles for peak periods in summertime and Christmas.
