The Swedish-based construction group Skanska, operating in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, is to recruit at least 100 new workers by the end of 2016. As reported, Skanska more than doubled its operating profit to CZK 353 million (EUR 13 mn) and created 500 new positions in 2015. At present, the group employs about 4,000 people in the Czech and Slovak republics. It also has operations in Europe and United States and employs roughly 60,000 people worldwide.
