European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Animal vaccine manufacturer, Elanco, is closing its plant in Co Sligo, with the loss of 100 jobs.
Most of the jobs are to go in the second half of 2016 with some remaining staff working into 2017 as the plant winds down its operation.
Recent cost reduction measures by the company did not generate enough savings to keep the plant open
