Description

Telecommunications company BT has announced plans to add 1000 extra jobs to its UK workforce by April 2017.  The jobs are a result of the company's pledge, made in September 2015, to answer more than 80% of its customers' calls from sites within the UK by the end of 2016. The jobs will be added at BT's existing contact centres and all will be frontline customer service roles. The first site which has been named is Swansea where 100 jobs will be added. Further details about which sites will host the new jobs is expected in the following months.
