Description
The retailer of cell-phone related products, Avenir Telecom, has decided to close its network of shops under the brand "Internity", leading to the loss of 260 positions. After the closure of 191 shops in 2014, the group asked in December 2015 to be placed in receivership by the commercial court . It then announced the closure of its remaining 80 shops as soon as possible, which will result in the loss of 260 positions out of a total of 316. The global turnover of Avenir Telecom has decreased from €265 million in 2013-2014 to €168 million in 2014-2015. The turnover for 2015-2016 is expected to be lower than €100 million.
