European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Portuguese hotel chain Tivoli & Resorts is to create 350 new jobs in the first months of 2016. The Portuguese group is organising an open day on the 18 January to recruit the new employees. Currently, there are open positions in food and beverages (management, kitchen, bar, restaurant), lodging (reception and rooms) and recreational activities. The company is also seeking to hire personnel for other departments including sales, human resources, shop management and quality control.
The tourism sector is growing in Portugal and the number of tourists visiting the country is expected to increase by 40% by 2020.
