Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The global e-commerce platform, Groupon, announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its international business centre (shared services centre) in Warsaw. The company has already started the recruitment process; the company is looking for specialists and managers with knowledge of foreign languages. The centre was opened in June 2015 and currently employs 200 people. The centre provides services to clients of nine European countries, including Poland. Groupon has been operating in Poland since 2010.
