European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The company ContiTech, a member of the Continental Group, announced its second expansion this year, which will create 465 new jobs in Nyíregyháza and Makó. The production area in Makó will be expanded by 4,000 square metres and a 5,000 square-metre new logistics plant implemented in Nyíregyháza.
Continental operates six factories and one rubber tire commercial centre in Hungary, employing roughly 7,000 workers. Details on the previous expansion in 2015 are available here: http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/node/84697.
