Description

In the framework of its restructuring plan announced in April to reduce its workforce of about 1,450 positions (see ERM Factsheet), the French subsidiary GEA Wesfalai Separator France has decided to cut 104 positions in France out of a total workforce of 1,000 employees. According to several regional newspapers, 22 positions are in threat in Sorinières (Loire-Atlantique) ; 20 positions are announced to be cut in Montigny-Le-Bretonneux (Yvelines) and 30 in the three units of Château-Thierry (Aisne). The sources mention a total of 104 job cuts. There is no information about the time schedule, but dismissals will happen in the coming months after the negotiation of a social plan.
