Description
The management of Lamberet, a manufacturer of refrigerated trailers which belongs to the Chinese group AVIC, has announced the opening of a new plant that will start production by mid-2016. Lamberet will invest €10 million over the next three years in this 15,000 m2 plant that is projected to reach a turnover of €30 million. The group will recruit about 150 employees in production and support functions over the next three years. The first refrigerated vehicles will be produce by mid-2016. The management explains that this new plant is the result of three years of R&D to prepare a new generation of vehicles. The group has announced investments in its main site of Saint-Cyr-sur-Menthon (Ain) where 650 employees are working. The group has recruited 350 employees since 2010.
