Description
Online supermarket retailer Ocado has announced plans to create nearly 1,800 new jobs. The majority of the roles are reported to be for delivery drivers, though it is understood that there are vacancies for a wide variety of roles across the business. There has been recent speculation that Ocado is set to sign deals with US and French counterparts and plans to expand the business through licensing its technology to supermarkets in these countries. However, the latest recruitment drive is not related to this deal, but is the result of increasing demand in the domestic market.
