European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Rational, a German kitchen manufacturer, will shut down its production plant in Waldmünchen in an effort to increase efficiency. The closure in Waldmünchen will affect 85 out of 95 employees. The production will be relocated to the plant of Snaidero in Majano, Italy, where the company has its headquarter. The remaining 10 employees in Waldmünchen will continue to work in customer support.
