Description
Chinese car manufacturer Geely is planning extensive investments in its development subsidiary CEVT in Gothenburg, Sweden. The business expansion is expected to result in 350 new positions at CEVT. CEVT CEO Mats Fägerhag says that the investments will mean a substantial increase in the number of employees, as well as the opportunity to enter into further agreements with Swedish-based industrial manufacturers such as SKF, Autoliv and Semcon. Fägerhag further says that CEVT currently develops complete solutions for several passenger car models on behalf of Geely. The first models will be presented in 2016. He adds that the current number of employees is about 1,400, and that 350 more (mostly engineers) are planned for.
