Description

In the framework of the fight against illegal immigration, the Prime Minister Manual Valls has announced to recruit about 900 people in the police and specifically in the boundary police. It will cost €40 million it the state budget. According to the Prime Minister, the recruitment is to counter the strain on capacity with increased personnel assigned to counter-terror. Manuel Valls also highlighted that 5330 positions in the police have been created since 2012, and that the security forces have decreased in the last five years.
