European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The establishment of Bosal Benelux in Westerlo has been declared bankrupt. Since May 2015, the producer of exhaust pipes for motor vehicles has been under administrative protection from financial creditors. Nonetheless, the trade unions have indicated surprise at the bankruptcy referring to ongoing contacts with other companies for a potential take-over.
