Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Software company Cegeka Romania intends to recruit 150 staff in 2015. The majority (nearly 70%) of vacancies will be in the development department. Cegeka had turnover last year of 44.3 m lei (almost 10 m euro) putting it among the top 30 software companies in Romania. The company has two business divisions in Romania: software development and infrastructure. In software development, Cegeka is seeking candidates with experience in .NET, PHP, C ++, Navision, Drupal, SharePoint and automated testing. In the infrastructure division, most positions are in support in technologies such as Wintel, Citrix, Linux, but the company is also considering hiring for service desk positions for those with German, French or English.
