Description

PKP Cargo, Poland’s largest railway freight carrier, and Greenbrier, one of the world’s largest producer of rolling stock, will start joint production of freight waggons in the factory in Szczecin. Greenbrier will provide the equipment and technology, while PKP Cargo will provide qualified production and administrative staff and workshop facilities. PKP Cargo plans to invest PLN 11.50 mn (EUR 2.75mn USD 3.08mn) in the venture. The factory is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2016 and will bring creation of 150 jobs.
