Description

French electronic chip manufacturer, SP System, has announced to recruit about 200 employees in 2015 to develop a new electronic chip included in stickers. The first market is to sell such stickers to bikers that will stick it on their motorcycle helmet. Police and emergency services can read the electronic chips through a free application in case of accident. It contains information about the identity of the biker, contact person, medical information. Other possible applications of the product include their use on invalidity cards, ID cards (to facilitate control by public authorities), schoolbags or cars.

The company, a Narbonne based start-up, is expect to recruit about 800 employees in the next five years.
